Power Through Relationship
Expectancy is an important component of receiving from our God and from His Kingdom. Knowing how to correctly understand His system and His way of doing and being correct, and learning to gauge our expectancy according to a Kingdom perspective is vital.
The systems of this world are not the systems of our God. They operate differently and are under different leadership. I personally find that they are in direct opposition to each other, and that how they approach things is diametrically opposed to each other’s methods. This is true in every area of our lives. I have found it especially true in the area of business.
What does this mean in regards to expectancy in the Kingdom? There is a longing and great desire among the Citizens of His Kingdom to see signs, wonders, miracles and the power Jesus displayed more today than when Christ was on the earth. That desire is increasing everywhere and everyday. He promised that we would do greater things than He did when He was on the earth.
We have discussed the veil and the gap that separates humanity from Heaven’s realm. Jesus demonstrated that He did not experience a gap nor a veil obstructing His vision. How did Jesus operate in the miraculous? He was clear that it was through relationship.
"So Jesus answered them by saying, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, the Son is able to do nothing of Himself (of His own accord); but He is able to do only what He sees the Father doing, for whatever the Father does is what the Son does in the same way [in His turn]. The Father dearly loves the Son and discloses to (shows) Him everything that He Himself does. And He will disclose to Him (let Him see) greater things yet than these, so that you may marvel and be full of wonder and astonishment."
