KSAM: The Kingdom Paradigm of Giving, Part Six

"Generosity brings prosperity, but withholding from charity brings poverty. Those who live to bless others will have blessings heaped upon them, and the one who pours out his life to pour out blessings will be saturated with favor." - Proverbs 11:24-25 TPT

"24 There are those who [generously] scatter abroad, and yet increase more; there are those who withhold more than is fitting or what is justly due, but it results only in want. 25 The liberal person shall be enriched, and he who waters shall himself be watered." - Proverbs 11:24-25, Amplified Bible, Classic Edition

"24 Give freely and become more wealthy; be stingy and lose everything. 25 The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed." - Proverbs 11:24-25, New Living Translation

This principle and dynamic (interactive if/then) is often misunderstood. The question most often involves motivation. Some describe this interactive dynamic as an attempt to “name it and claim it," or "blab it and grab it.” This is far off base.

The Holy Spirit God reveals to us in Matthew six how this works. Jesus said that our motivation is the key to our results. If we are motivated for earthly recognition and honor, we will receive that, but it ends there. There is no eternal benefit or reward associated with that kind of motivation.

When our motivation is for good based on our relationship with and understanding of our God’s system and His Kingdom paradigm, we are engaging Heaven’s realm and we obtain rewards that are eternal and transcend time. These rewards are not only experienced in the earth realm, but their results follow us into our forever hereafter.

Jesus clearly says that “things” are good and He wants you to have and to enjoy them. His emphasis and priority are always determined from the perspective of the Kingdom paradigm of eternity and our personal eternalness. The prism that we view everything in our lives through must be the eternal perspective of His system/kingdom/government and His kingdom paradigm.

The paradigm we engage provides the ideas, the assumptions, and the beliefs that we accept and they form our understanding of our world and how our world operates. This becomes our worldview and the prism through which we view everything, and the basis for all of our expectations and beliefs.
