Eternal Dynamics, Part 2
Last week, we discussed what I've called the "dynamical reality" of life on earth, in our here-and-now. God created our whole universe as a system in which dynamics are at play constantly. Once we see this reality, we are able to see it playing out everywhere.
Today, I want you to read the following scriptures and consider them from a dynamical position (instead of a religious one). I believe they will become more operable and real to you as you do so.:
1. “And all things, whatsoever you shall ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive.” – Matthew 21:22
2. “Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.” – Matthew 7:7
3. “The Kingdom of Heaven is within.” – Luke 17:21
4. “I and my Father are one.” – John 10:30
5. “If thou can believe, all things are possible, to him that believeth.” – Mark 9.23
6. “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” – Proverbs 23:7
7. “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed, by the renewing of your mind.” – Romans 12:2
8. “According to your faith, shall it be done to you.” – Matthew 9:29
9. “Fix your eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” – Corinthians 4:18
10. “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” – Luke 6:38 (NIV)
11. “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” – Mark 11:24
12. “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” – Hebrews 11:1
Can you identify the dynamic in each scripture?
- Can you see what it is that we do in order to direct what happens in our lives and in our world?
- Do you see where faith plays a significant role?
- What role does faith play?
- How can faith be substance/material/currency/ or the title-deed?
- Can you identify anything in life that is not dynamical and relational?
- Do we choose our outcomes by our actions?
- What impact does our conduct and our behavior have on our forever hereafter?
