Overcoming Faith
Do you long to have a powerful faith -- the kind of faith that overcomes the Kingdom of Darkness? The kind of faith that moves mountains? This kind of faith doesn't just happen. It has to be cultivated over time and in constant relationship with our Father. Like Peter as he stepped out onto the water, it is easy for us to start out strong, only to find ourselves sinking swiftly as we take our eyes off of Jesus and put them onto our circumstances.
The best way to cultivate this overcoming kind of faith is to activate it daily. Confess it out loud. Declare what God has said about you, and internalize it as you speak it day by day. Then, as the trials of life come along, your faith will be strong and built up. You will be able to continue forward with your eyes on the Savior, walking in victory.
The following declaration was written just for this purpose. It comes from my book Kingdom Activating Declarations, which I have made available free of charge here. If you will use this declaration regularly, I am confident that you will experience great increase, expansion, and strengthening in your faith.
Overcoming Faith Declaration
Lord we believe, we accept, and we confirm Your Word.
Greater are You who is living in and who is working through us than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all of the power of the enemy - the Defeated Satan (Luke 10:19).
We take our shield of faith and we quench every fiery dart of the Defeated Satan. (Ephesians 6:16).
Our God keeps us in perfect peace, because our minds stay/remain on Him, because we trust Him completely (Isaiah 26:3).
We can and we do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens us and who is our strength. (Philippians 4:13).
We are crucified with Christ; it is no longer we who live but Christ who lives in us (Galatians 2:20) We are Resurrected with You, Jesus.
Whatever we bind on earth is bound in heaven, and whatever we loose on earth is loosed in heaven (Matthew 16:19) We have the Keys to the Kingdom Authority.
God forgives all of our sin. He heals all our diseases. He redeems our lives from the pit. He crowns us with Faithful Love and with tender compassion. He satisfies us with Goodness. He renews our youth like the eagle (Psalm 103:1-5). We are overcomers. We are strong.
Whatever We ask for in prayer, We believe We have received it. It is ours NOW, because of our Faith! (Mark 11:24).
