Our God really has a sense of humor, and His paths and plans often take us to places we would never imagine. I never set out to be an author, teacher, or speaker. I'm an entrepreneur and businessman, and have been all of my life. Business is the world I understand. So I suppose it should come as no surprise that God would use the business arena to open my eyes and teach me about the most important, revolutionary, life-changing reality: His kingdom.

Over twenty-five years ago I began facing and dealing with an incredibly challenging season in business, and it was in that time that God revealed to me what His kingdom is, how it operates, and why understanding and operating in the kingdom would become the building block for everything that would follow in my life. I came to see that for much of my life up until that point I had been in religion, but what my Creator wanted was to be in relationship. He wanted me to see that true success is found only in and through His kingdom.

Out of this challenging, fruitful time came some of the greatest lessons I've ever learned. I was glad to have this new understanding, and before long doors began to open for me to teach others what I had learned -- not only in the U.S. but all across the world. In fact, Fran and I travelled to over sixty countries where we had the privilege to teach Kingdom values and principles. It was an amazing experience to see "lightbulb moments" across the globe as people suddenly understood what they had been missing from life, and what has made available to them through the kingdom.

God clearly began to speak to me that I was to write books based on what He had taught me. I will be the first to admit that this thought intimidated and overwhelmed me. Again, I never had any inclination of becoming an author! But try as I may, it was a calling I could not escape from. I put pen to paper, and the book that emerged was The Kingdom System.

So why are we re-releasing The Kingdom System now? The book was originally released over twelve years ago, and as I began the writing journey there was much I did not understand about being an author and about the publishing world. All the books I have written up until this point have been self-published. But God recently opened the door for me to partner with Fedd Books, a national literary agency that has released titles from people like Eric Metaxas, Tim Tebow, John Bevere, Lisa TerKeurst, and others. This was the perfect opportunity to take what I've written years ago and revise and expand it with new insights I've gained since the original writing, as well as filling in some of the back story of what was happening in my life as God was teaching me the lessons that would eventually become the book.

This new version of The Kingdom System has just been released, but I am also re-releasing my next two books -- Kingdomnomics and Kingdom Deployment -- in March and in May, respectively. These three books comprise what I'm calling the God's Redemptive Plan for Governance series, and I consider them the core message God has given me to share with humanity. I am hopeful that with this re-release and relaunch we will be able to reach the ends of the earth with the life-changing message of God's kingdom.
