A Comprehensive Plan
In all that we are and in all that we do there is a Kingdom plan. Spiritually, mentally, physically, our health, emotionally, relationally, financially and in all that we do and in all that we are.
How comprehensive is the Kingdom plan? Let’s review.
Romans 8:28 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition:
"28 We are assured, and we know that [[a]our God being a partner in their/our labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] a plan that is good for and good to those who love God and who are called according to [His] design and for His purpose."
His purpose for us is the answer to the question “what is my purpose here?” Nothing else will satisfy our longing for fellowship and for communion with our transcendent power source. Our Creator and our Designer, our Friend and our God has good plans for us that are full of hope.
Even when we walk through challenges and difficult circumstances, we can believe our Father is weaving everything together for our good. Our family has faced some of the most challenging times we have ever been through recently. We are overwhelmed, but not overcome. Through it all we confess and believe that our God is good, He is sovereign, and He works all things together for our good. We do not understand His plans, but His plans are perfect.
How comprehensive is the impact of the Kingdom of our God to be in our lives?
Many believe the Kingdom of God is just for religious or spiritual things. Is that correct? Scripture teaches that the Kingdom of God is applicable to everything that we encounter, in everything that we do, and in everything about us. There are no excluded areas of our lives that are left out. Who we marry, our vocation, and our callings? How we worship and how we know our Creator and our God, how we relate to each other, and how we relate to everything in between. The nature of the Kingdom of God is social or community-based and provides common unity for society. As such, the Kingdom is to impact both the individual and society.
